iOS 26 και iPadOS 26: Διαθέσιμα από σήμερα, φέρνουν το Liquid Glass και πλήθος νέων δυνατοτήτων

Η Apple διαθέτει πλέον τις μεγάλες αναβαθμίσεις λογισμικού της για το φθινόπωρο του 2025: το iOS 26 και το iPadOS 26. Οι νέες εκδόσεις είναι ήδη διαθέσιμες για όλα τα συμβατά μοντέλα iPhone και iPad, με την εγκατάσταση να γίνεται απευθείας από τις ρυθμίσεις της συσκευής. Όπως συμβαίνει πάντα στην πρώτη μέρα κυκλοφορίας, μπορεί να χρειαστεί λίγη αναμονή για να φτάσει το update σε όλους λόγω της αυξημένης ζήτησης.

Στα iPhone, το iOS 26 υποστηρίζεται από τα μοντέλα της σειράς iPhone 11 και νεότερα, καθώς και από το iPhone SE δεύτερης γενιάς. Για όσους διαθέτουν iPhone XR, XS ή XS Max, το iOS 18 παραμένει η τελευταία διαθέσιμη έκδοση. Στα iPad, το iPadOS 26 εγκαθίσταται σε όλες τις συσκευές που είχαν πρόσβαση στο iPadOS 18, με μοναδική εξαίρεση το iPad έβδομης γενιάς. Παράλληλα, η Apple κυκλοφόρησε και μικρότερες ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας για όσους δεν μπορούν να αναβαθμίσουν στη νέα γενιά.

Η μεγάλη καινοτομία των φετινών εκδόσεων είναι η εισαγωγή του Liquid Glass, της νέας σχεδιαστικής φιλοσοφίας που αλλάζει ριζικά την εμφάνιση του λειτουργικού. Εικονίδια, μενού και πλήκτρα αποκτούν μια ημιδιάφανη, «γυάλινη» αισθητική, η οποία αντανακλά το φως και προσαρμόζεται δυναμικά στο φόντο, δημιουργώντας την ψευδαίσθηση πραγματικού γυαλιού.

Το Safari, το Photos και η Camera γίνονται πιο απλά στη χρήση, ενώ η ενσωμάτωση εργαλείων Apple Intelligence εμπλουτίζει τις δυνατότητες σε εφαρμογές όπως Messages, FaceTime και Phone.
